Christmas lights: Multi-coloured or single colour?
This week's 'Would You Rather?' dilemma has a Christmas theme to it.  It's a simple question; when putting up your Christmas decorations, do you prefer your Christmas lights to be all one colour, or multi-coloured?

To help you decide I've included a side by side comparison of how multi-coloured lights and single coloured Christmas lights look.

Both Christmas trees look great, but which do you prefer?

Santa Claus has gone missing and his replacement, Neville the Naughty Elf, is getting up to all sorts of mischief while Santa is away!  Read all about it in 'Santa and the Naughty Elf' available for kindle.

...or celebrate two birthdays every year?

Two birthdays, or two Christmases?
If you opt for the 'two birthdays' option, then don't worry ... you wouldn't age twice as fast!  You would just get two days of the year where you got to go out and celebrate, and where everyone gave you cards and presents.

And if you opt for the 'two Christmases' option then obviously you get two days of the year where you get to give and receive presents to/from all your friends, and where you get to enjoy all of the other Christmas trimmings, such as meeting up with friends and family, Christmas food, and repeats on TV, er ... a chance to rewatch Christmas specials on TV!

Footnote: Whatever your choice, assume that the two days would be six months apart, so you get to spread out the enjoyment.

...or Santa's elves got no payrise this year?

Santa faces a tough decision this year.
To set the scene for this 'Would You Rather?' dilemma, imagine you're an elf working at Santa's Toy Factory at the North Pole, and sadly it turns out that even Santa isn't immune from the current economic climate.  As a result, Santa's accountants have told him that this year he has to make some cutbacks.

Santa therefore faces some tough decisions, because the budegetary cuts mean there's no money in the pot to give his elves a payrise this year.  However, one option available to Santa would be to give each kid less toys this Christmas and use the savings to finance the Elves' Pay Award.

World peace, or ten luxury items for yourself of your choosing?

World peace or ten luxury items?
For example you could choose your own private jet, a luxury mansion, a top of the range Ferrari, the world's biggest yacht, a cuddly toy or even the latest cool mobile phone of the moment if that was what you fancied.  Or indeed anything else you fancied up to ten luxury items.

Or alternatively, you could choose world peace, and war and confict would become a thing of the past...

Which option would you go for?  World peace or ten luxury items of your choosing?
