...or not be able to make new memories?

An elephant never forgets...
Unless it's faced with this week's 'Would You Rather?' dilemma.
For most people, this week's dilemma might be seen as a choice between two equally undesirable options.  Or perhaps, some people might wish to selectively lose some of their memories.

However, if you had to go for a full memory wipe, and erase either all memories of the past, or all potential memories you would experience in future, which option would you go for?  To lose all your current memories?  Or to never be able to form new memories?

To round things off, here are a few quotes on the theme of memory and memories.

"The short memories of voters is what keeps our politicians in office."

"Be careful about lending a friend money. It may damage their memory."

"When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it had happened or not."
...Mark Twain
